Benjamin Tobias, Yoav Birenberg|
Actor Khalifa Natour won the Ophir Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in "The Sea." He did not attend the ceremony and sent a message in which he said, among other things, that "following the army's entry into Gaza and the genocide that frightens me very much, I cannot find words to describe the magnitude of the horror, and everything else becomes marginal for me. Including cinema and theater." In response, the audience applauded, with some even standing and cheering.
