Northern Command warns: 'UNIFIL operating against IDF, suspicious and unusual activities'

|
After UNIFIL announced earlier this week that it shot down an Israeli drone operating near Kfar Kila, close to Metula, a senior military official in the Northern Command sharply criticized the organization's conduct in a conversation with ynet: "We encounter them documenting IDF forces, rather than monitoring the border and matters under their authority." According to him, "We have conveyed blunt and clear messages protesting their proactive and unusual actions. We understand they are not a supporting force, but a foreign force engaged in suspicious activities that exceed their mission parameters."
