|
Southern District Police Commander, Chief Superintendent Haim Bublil, said at the site of the Iranian missile strike in Be'er Sheva that "this is a complex and significant event. There is a direct hit on a building. Unfortunately, there is extensive damage. Additional buildings were damaged as a result of the blast wave." According to him, "We are sadly reporting four fatalities that we evacuated from the building. Another 16 were injured. Efforts are focused on searching the building for additional missing persons. We are searching room by room. The situation is under control." Chief Superintendent Bublil added: "We don't have reports of anyone saying someone is missing. But we want to be sure. The fatalities were caused by a direct hit on the building. Unfortunately, in this strike even the protected rooms sustained severe damage."
