At least 20 refugees were killed when a migrant boat that departed from Libya capsized south of the Italian island of Lampedusa in the Mediterranean Sea. This was reported by the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR), which noted that a similar number of people are listed as missing. According to Italian news agency Ansa, about 70-80 people survived the capsizing.
