The Israeli Air Force, with precise intelligence guidance, struck the heavy water production facility in Arak in central Iran. This was announced by the IDF Spokesperson, who added that "heavy water is a unique material used to operate nuclear reactors such as the inactive reactor in Arak, which was originally designed to have the capability to produce weapons-grade plutonium. These materials are also used as a source material for producing a neutron source for nuclear weapons. The facility was attacked during Operation 'Iron Swords,' and afterward, repeated and recurring restoration attempts by the Iranian terror regime at the site were detected. Therefore, the IDF has now struck the facility once again."
