Solberg to Likud: Election results don't depend on your consent

|
Central Elections Committee Chairman Noam Solberg responded to the Likud's request to hold a discussion regarding bribery allegations before publishing the election results. According to Solberg, the Central Elections Committee presidency has no authority to withhold approval of the results but only to finalize its calculations. Additionally, he said they have no authority to intervene in the investigation and that doing so would harm it, writing that 'elections have results. Those results do not depend on the consent of the outgoing Knesset's majority group or its representatives.'
