The prosecution informed the attorney of former Shin Bet chief Nadav Argaman that it has decided to close the investigation opened against him following statements he made in an interview with Keshet News in March this year. Police had decided to open an investigation against Argaman on suspicion of extortion threats. The investigation file was transferred several weeks ago to the Central District Prosecutor's Office, and after a thorough evidentiary and legal examination of the circumstances, it was decided to close the case as Argaman's statements do not constitute a criminal offense.
