Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu indirectly addressed the extension of the ceasefire in Lebanon, which was announced overnight by U.S. President Donald Trump. Netanyahu claimed in a video he released: "I had an excellent conversation with President Trump. He is pressuring Iran very hard, both economically and militarily. We are operating in full cooperation. The same applies to Lebanon: We have begun a process to achieve a historic peace between Israel and Lebanon, and it is clear that Hezbollah is trying to sabotage this. We maintain complete freedom of action against any threat, including emerging threats. We struck yesterday and we struck today. We are determined to restore security to the residents of the north."
