Ayala Metzger: 'We'll remember Oct. 7 on Oct. 27 too. Citizens must ensure those responsible are investigated'

Marking three years since the massacre, a convoy led by families of Oct. 7 victims set out from Caesarea to Tel Aviv, accompanied by towed car skeletons. Ayala Metzger, daughter-in-law of Yoram Metzger who was murdered in Hamas captivity, said, "This is a personal and national day of remembrance for all the people we lost, and also for the loss of the state's way. The abandonment and the massacre cannot be obscured or forgotten. We'll remember this day on Oct. 27 as well, that's what the elections are about. The citizens must ensure that those who abandoned us bear responsibility, that everything is investigated, and that those responsible are removed from our lives before they cook up the next disaster."
