Mekorot chairman Moshe Shemoni said in an interview at Ynet and Yedioth Ahronoth's 'People of the State' conference regarding the desalination plant shutdowns that 'we can't say the crisis is behind us, but we can say we definitely knew how to provide a good response.' Shemoni added that the company prepared to supply water through alternative sources and that despite the crisis, no water shortage was recorded.
