South Korean President Lee Jae-myung threatened to take action against Ukraine unless Kyiv admits it violated an agreement between the countries not to disclose the transfer of two North Korean soldiers who fought in the ranks of the Russian army and were captured. Seoul also demands an apology from Kyiv, and the South Korean president wrote on X: "If the refusal to acknowledge the facts and apologize continues, we will take further steps." The crisis began when Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the transfer of the prisoners to Seoul from the podium of the UN General Assembly. South Korea claimed the sides agreed not to disclose this, but Ukraine denied it.
