Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty spoke by phone Sunday with his Saudi counterpart, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, to discuss ongoing efforts to reach a ceasefire agreement in Gaza, Egypt’s Foreign Ministry said.
The call focused on the implementation of a three-phase truce plan and the reconstruction of the coastal enclave. The two ministers also emphasized the importance of coordination between Cairo and Riyadh to de-escalate tensions in the region and prevent further deterioration.
