There is “no diplomatic off ramp to the crisis that has forced conversation right now,” according to Behnam Ben Taleblu, Senior Director of the Iran Program at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies.
He said that the Islamic republic is keen to run the clock and that there is no “moral, political, strategic case for engagement.”
