Liberman to opposition leaders: 'Commit to universal draft law - no exemptions'

|
Yisrael Beiteinu party chairman Avigdor Liberman called on opposition leaders Yair Lapid, Gadi Eisenkot and Naftali Bennett, writing on X: "I am calling on you to make an explicit commitment to the people of Israel to support a universal draft law. No quotas, no targets and no exemptions for even one person. I emphasize: a universal draft law. Jews, Muslims, Christians, Druze and Circassians. In two tracks, military and civilian, with the IDF determining who is suitable for military service, and all the rest will serve in a meaningful and contributory civilian track. Without an explicit commitment from all opposition leaders to such a law, it will not be possible to form a true Zionist and liberal coalition."
