Thai police are searching for a 36-year-old Israeli tourist suspected of sexually assaulting a 19-year-old Finnish woman, authorities said Monday.
The woman reported that the man kissed and touched her against her will while she was under the influence of alcohol at a beach gathering. Despite her pleas, he continued the alleged assault.
Police reviewed surveillance footage and identified the suspect. A warrant for his arrest was issued earlier in the day.
