Ukrainian President Volodomyr Zelensky addressed the world's Jewry in an Hebrew post on his Telegram page on Wednesday.
"On the first day of the war the city of Uman was massively shelled, the place where hundreds and thousands of Jews come every year to pray. Then they attacked Babi Yar, where hundreds of thousands of Jews were shot dead. Can you not see what is going on here? "
Zelensky added that "it is important that millions of Jews around the world do not remain silent to these sights, because Nazism was born in silence. Shout against the killing of the Ukrainians!"
