Knesset approves multi-billion defense projects, including new navy ships

The Knesset's Ministerial Procurement Committee approved several defense projects worth billions of shekels, including the acquisition of new missile ships and armored vehicles, officials announced Sunday.
The Defense Ministry will purchase five advanced Reshef mini corvettes from Israel Shipyards to replace the Navy’s aging Sa’ar 4.5 vessels. Additionally, the committee approved the procurement of hundreds of JLTV armored vehicles for maneuvering forces, which will be delivered to the IDF in the coming years.
