IDF estimates there are about 5,700 entrances to the tunnels in Gaza

The New York Times reports that the IDF estimates that there are approximately 5,700 entrances to the tunnels in the Gaza Strip. Israeli officials and fighters who were in the tunnels, alongside current and former American officials who comment on the subject, told the newspaper that the scope, depth and quality of the tunnels built by Hamas were astonishing. In December, the IDF estimated that the length of all the tunnels reaches 400 km. Now senior military officials estimate that their length is much greater - between 560 km and 720 km. (Ynet)
