The Health Ministry on Monday morning reported that 472 new coronavirus cases have been diagnosed the previous day.
With 70,204 tests conducted on Sunday, the infection rate stands at 0.68%.
Out of 7,823 active patients, 219 are in serious condition, with 130 connected to ventilators.
The death toll since the start of the pandemic sits at 8,100.
