The Mount Hermon Ski Resort will open for visitors for the first time for the season Thursday morning as Israel's highest peak was blanketed with snow thanks to the Carmel winter storm.
About 50 cm (1.5 feet) of snow have piled up on the mountain's upper level while the lower level is covered by 25 cm (0.8 feet) of snow.
