he Israeli military said five rockets were launched Friday night from northern Gaza toward Israel. Four were intercepted and one landed in an open area. No casualties were reported.
Air raid sirens sounded in Ashdod, as well as in nearby communities including Nitzan and Nitzanim beach. Residents in Israel’s central lowlands reported hearing explosions.
