Security officials said that thousands of Palestinians are leaving their homes in the Jenin refugee camp on foot. Some 19,000 people live in the camp in an area of half a square kilometer. According to the sources, the residents are leaving due to the presence of hundreds of armed men in their homes and fear of continued fighting. The sources added that the residents were not required to evacuate by the IDF, but are doing so out of disgust and fear of the escalation in the camp over the last day. (Yoav Zitun)
