Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah delivered a speech in honor of the Shi'ite Ashura Day and said, "Israel is in the worst state it has ever been in. We hear in the Israeli media about the destruction of the Third Temple. For the first time in its history, Israel cannot achieve its goals, and is using indiscriminate killing to justify its situation." He added that "the Houthis have made Eilat's port bankrupt. No ship goes there. The cost of living and the collapsing economy in Israel show the fruits of our pressure."
