The 188th Brigade has been operating in the Al-Bureij camp in the central Gaza Strip since the beginning of the week. In their operations, the brigade's soldiers have encountered numerous terrorists launching attacks from buildings and civilian areas. Since the commencement of their mission in the camp, the troops have discovered and destroyed four rocket launchers, exposing nine explosive devices.
In addition, the IDF reported that dozens of terrorists were located inside a school with civilians. Exploiting the situation, they fired an RPG rocket and opened fire toward IDF forces while using women and children as shields. The soldiers swiftly raided the school, apprehending the terrorists and neutralizing the threat.
