The Israeli Air Force carried out an airstrike on a Hamas weapons depot in Deir Ali, southern Syria, the IDF said Saturday.
The strike, coordinated with Military Intelligence and Northern Command, targeted weapons intended for terror attacks against Israeli forces.
The IDF accused Hamas and other Palestinian terrorist organizations of using Syrian territory to establish a terror infrastructure under Iranian guidance.
The military warned that it will continue striking Hamas wherever it attempts to entrench itself and will prevent any buildup of terrorist capabilities that could threaten Israel’s security.
