The IDF, Border Police and Shin Bet soldiers arrested 13 wanted persons throughout the West Bank and in the Bekaa Valley overnight Monday. In an operation that lasted about six hours in Al-Amari, the forces arrested two wanted persons, interrogated many suspects and confiscated incendiary materials of Hamas. During the operation, violence developed, during which suspects threw stones and Molotov cocktails at the soldiers, who responded by firing and detected a hit. As part of the exchange of fire in the area, a border police soldier was slightly injured in the leg and was taken to a hospital for medical treatment. (Yoav Zitun)
