After 74 years, IDF identifies remains of 2 fallen soldiers in War of Independence

The IDF announced Friday that after 74 years it identified the remains of two troops killed during the War of Independence.
Binyamin Aryeh Eisenberg and Yitzhak Rubinstein, both Palmach soldiers, were defending Kibbutz Yad Mordechai from the Egyptians during its evacuation on May 24, 1948.
The two were killed after being captured, and the Egyptian army soldiers abused their bodies. The two will be buried in a mass grave at Nitzanim.
