Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz on Sunday congratulated incoming IDF Chief of Staff, Maj. Gen. Eyal Zamir following the governmental approval of his nomination in a joint statement.
"I was impressed with Eyal's commitment to Israel, the IDF and the fact he has an aggressive attitude," Netanyahu said.
