A Russian court has ordered the hospitalization of U.S. citizen Joseph Tater, who is currently in pre-trial detention, state-run TASS news agency reported on Sunday. According to TASS, doctors who have worked with Tater have diagnosed him with a mental disorder. Tater was detained in August last year and accused of abusing staff at a Moscow hotel, something he denied. He faces up to five years in prison if convicted. Reuters was unable to contact Tater for comment as he was in detention.
