The Blazers finished in a position where they need only one play-in win to advance to the NBA playoffs, as opposed to two wins required from the ninth or tenth seeds. Deni Avdija continued his impressive season and was one of Portland's standouts, finishing with 25 points (9-of-19 from the field, 5-of-9 from three-point range and 2-of-3 from the free-throw line), 10 assists and 6 rebounds in 33 minutes. The Israeli contributed on both ends of the court and showed consistency in the season's decisive game.
