Arab channels reported explosions heard from the direction of the Strait of Hormuz, in the Sirik area and Qeshm Island in southern Iran. According to the Iranian news agency Mehr, the explosions were apparently 'conducted to manage traffic in the Strait of Hormuz.' It was also reported that no official entity, including the Revolutionary Guards or local authorities, has responded to the incident so far.
