Northern local leaders: 'We don't hear the IDF, our future is being decided in Washington'

Kiryat Shmona Mayor Avichai Stern criticized the government for reducing strikes in Lebanon, saying in an interview with Ynet Studio that "our future is being decided in Washington instead of Jerusalem." According to him, "We placed our fate in the Israeli government, called it 'full right-wing.' I haven't spoken with the defense minister or the prime minister since the beginning of the war. After more than 40 days in shelters, there should at least be a clear result - the dismantling of Hezbollah and quiet for generations." The head of the Metula Council told Ynet Studio: "We are under terrible tension. We don't hear the IDF - there are no cannons at all."
