Lior Ben Ari|
Syria reported that the country's Ministry of Justice issued for the first time an official arrest warrant against the former president, dictator Bashar Assad, who was ousted in a military coup at the end of last year by President Ahmad al-Sharaa and his associates. According to reports, the warrant was issued on charges of murder during the "Daraa events" in 2011, during which Assad regime forces massacred masses of people who protested in the streets of Syria.
