Police addressed their decision to investigate journalist Aviad Glickman from Channel 13, following footage showing him pushing Gal Dabush, an employee of Prime Minister's wife Sara Netanyahu. Police claimed: "Following malicious defamation by interested parties against the head of the Police Investigations and Intelligence Division, we emphasize that like any decision, his decision to approve the investigation of the journalist is based on solid evidence for reasonable suspicion including a detailed complaint, a medical document indicating injury, eyewitnesses and several visual recordings - and not on whims or ulterior motives."
