Following the joint announcement by National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir and Communications Minister Shlomo Karhi about significant tightening of restrictions on media coverage by foreign media outlets during wartime, Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara is demanding immediate explanations from them regarding these restrictions. According to the announcement, foreign correspondents who wish to broadcast from Israel during combat will be required to obtain prior written approval from military censorship - both for the broadcast itself and its location. The Attorney General addressed the ministers: "Due to the urgency - we request your response to these matters today."
