MK Limor Son Har-Melech appointed as Deputy Knesset Speaker

|
The Knesset Plenum approved the appointment of MK Limor Son Har-Melech from Jewish Power party as Deputy Knesset Speaker, replacing MK Moshe Roth in accordance with coalition agreements. 47 Knesset members voted in favor and 27 against. Opposition members objected to the decision, with MK Yourai Lahav Hertzanu calling her a "terrorist supporter" following her support for the Dawabsha family murderer. Coalition Chairman Ophir Katz responded: "Tibi didn't bother you for 20 years, so Limor bothers you? I'm sure she'll do an excellent job."
