Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa said at a forum held in Antalya, Turkey, that "any recognition by any state of Israel's right to the Syrian Golan is invalid. The international community confirms that the Golan is Syrian territory occupied by Israel." According to him, "Israel is violating the 1974 agreement. We are working to reach a security agreement that ensures its withdrawal from the territories it occupied. This agreement will establish new rules that will restore the disengagement agreement or create a new agreement that ensures the security of both sides."
