Yashar Party Chairman Gadi Eisenkot is preparing to take control of committees and key positions in the Knesset, even before beginning negotiations to form a government. Ynet has learned that one of the first decisions is expected to be the establishment of a 'Special Committee for the State Commission of Inquiry Law,' in order to establish a state commission of inquiry into the Oct. 7 massacre not by virtue of a government decision, but according to a law that will pass in the Knesset. In parallel, the leaders of the Change Bloc parties have decided to establish six to eight special committees for legislative amendments, which will deal on one hand with repealing the judicial overhaul laws and on the other hand with passing urgent laws that can be passed within the framework of the parliamentary majority that Netanyahu's opponents have in the Knesset.
