|
Australian authorities reported that Sajid Akram (50) is the second terrorist who carried out the shooting attack in Sydney, in which 15 people were killed. He was eliminated at the scene. Akram committed the attack together with his son, Naveed Akram (24), who was seriously wounded. Police found an ISIS flag in the attackers' vehicle, and the Australian network ABC reported that the Australian Security Intelligence Organisation (ASIO) conducted an investigation six years ago regarding Naveed Akram due to his "close ties" to an ISIS terror cell in Sydney.
