In the 40th minute, Daniel Muñoz scored Colombia's first goal, but Uzbekistan equalized in the 60th minute with their first-ever World Cup goal, scored by Abbosbek Fayzullaev. Five minutes later, Luis Díaz capitalized on a mistake by goalkeeper Otabek Yusupov, kicked the ball into the net and made it 2-1. In the 99th minute, Colombia went up 3-1 thanks to a goal by Jhon Jaminton Campaz.
