PM's Office: International Aid to Begin Tomorrow, Air Force Prepares for Immediate Assistance

The Foreign Ministry has approached nearby countries including Greece, Cyprus, Croatia, Italy and Bulgaria requesting assistance in dealing with fires across the country. In a joint statement from the Prime Minister's Office, Foreign Ministry and National Security Ministry, it was announced that the National Security Council will coordinate with the Foreign Ministry and Fire Services to receive international aid, noting that due to nighttime flight restrictions, assistance is expected to begin tomorrow. Additionally, it was stated that Elad Squadron aircraft and police helicopters are currently operating in the field, and the Air Force is preparing for immediate assistance.
