Noam Perry, daughter of Haim Perry who was kidnapped from Nir Oz and murdered in Hamas captivity, said at a rally for hostages held by Western Negev communities at Shaar HaNegev Junction that 'we deserve a government that cares about its citizens and whose highest priority is to do everything to bring the hostages back from captivity, even at very heavy costs.' According to her, 'The fact that our government adds failure upon crime every day for 596 days, and abandoned my father and 40 other hostages to be murdered in captivity, is horrifying and dismantles our most basic values as a society.'
