After promising 'news' about hostages, Netanyahu declares: 'If not tomorrow then the day after'

|
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke at the state ceremony marking 58 years since Jerusalem's liberation and unification at Ammunition Hill, after promising "news" that sparked anger among hostages' families. According to him, the "mission" in Gaza, "including the mission of returning our hostages, accompanies us every day. It occupies us every night. We are not letting go of it, and if we don't achieve it today we will achieve it tomorrow, and if not tomorrow - then the day after." He added: "Hamas is stubborn, they are refusing to cooperate. So said Steve Witkoff."
