The Prosecutor's Office submitted an indictment to the Lod District Court against Denis Lyakhov (30) from Rishon Lezion, who is charged with committing offenses against state security including contact with a foreign agent and providing information to an enemy. According to the indictment, Lyakhov maintained contact with an Iranian agent who contacted him via Telegram and performed various tasks at his request and under his direction in exchange for payment. Among other things, he was instructed to go to Petah Tikva, record video of a street and residential buildings, transfer the footage to the agent and share the location with him. He was also instructed to visit a car dealership in Netanya and inquire about the prices of seven different vehicles while documenting the visit.
