The Be'er Sheva Magistrate's Court sentenced Ram Shahin (34) to seven years in prison and Daniel Hasson (30) from Daliyat al-Carmel to 40 months in prison for involvement in the theft of amplification systems from the Nova festival site worth over one million shekels that belonged to Matan Lior, who was murdered on October 7. The verdict stated: 'He knew the chance of anyone suspecting his intentions was slim. While the blood of the victims was being absorbed into the killing fields, the defendants chose to exploit the public's suffering and lay their hands on abandoned property to profit financially.'
