Pro-Palestinian 'Handala' flotilla approaches Gaza: 'Expecting Israel to stop us'

|
The 'Handala' flotilla, which departed with pro-Palestinian activists from Italy on Sunday, is approaching the Gaza coast. According to them, they are nearing the point where the 'Madeleine' flotilla was intercepted about a month and a half ago by Israeli Navy commandos from Shayetet 13. Earlier, the activists told Al Jazeera network that "we expect Israel to stop us today in the afternoon. We have decided to begin a hunger strike if Israel detains us. The hunger of Gaza residents is unacceptable."
