Opposition leader Yair Lapid addressed the coalition's efforts to reach a military draft law that would satisfy ultra-Orthodox parties at the opening of Yesh Atid's faction meeting. In his statement, he said, "We woke up to two pieces of news: the combat deaths of three Givati Brigade fighters of blessed memory, lions who were killed protecting us all, and the PM's staff sitting with ultra-Orthodox representatives begging for ten more days to arrange a mass draft dodging law. Everything wrong with this government is contained in these two pieces of news."
