Israeli national soccer team striker Eran Zahavi became its all-time top scorer Tuesday night after netting his 33rd goal wearing the blue and white uniforms in a 2022 World Cup qualifier against Moldova.
Zahavi, who plays for Dutch side PSV Eindhoven, moved past legendary striker Mordechai "Motaleh" Shpigler to become Israel's top marksman after his record held for 44 years.
