For first time since 2014: Israeli Eurovision representative won't be chosen via reality TV show

The Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation KAN announced Sunday that Israel's representative for next year's Eurovision Song Contest won't be chosen via a reality TV competition.
Instead, the process will be handled by a specialized committee comprised of nine members.
This will be the first time since 2014 when a Eurovision representative will not be chosen by the Israeli viewers.
