U.S. congressional leaders on Friday invited Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to address a joint meeting of Congress, The Hill news website reported, citing a letter to the Israeli premier.
The letter did not provide a date for the address.
Israeli officials confirmed to Ynet that Netanyahu has been invited to speak before Congress. Although a date for the speech has not yet been set, Republicans hope Netanyahu will speak before the August recess.
